About Jackie Rose

21 Year old singer, songwriter and visual artist Jackie Rose has extreme synesthesia- a condition where one’s senses are combined and triggered off one another. This gives her a unique approach and perspective when crafting her songs.

In the fall of 2020 she worked closely with producer Matt Noveskey of platinum act Blue October to create her debut album ‘ The Rainbow Kyd ‘ – due for release in 2021. Featuring singles such as Red Flags , 5:55 am , and Road to Recovery she was able to lean on the musical talents of various featured musicians including members of Noveskey’s band. Notably, Road To Recovery was co-written with Justin Furstenfeld.

With such topics ranging from mental health, police brutality, and gender equality ‘The Rainbow Kyd’ truly defies genre.
Pulling inspiration from acts such as Lorde, Amy Winehouse, and Lana Del Rey, The album has a fresh and modern sound with the common thread being Jackie’s distinct vocals and lyrical vulnerability.

Her first single Red Flags will be releasing on all major platforms on January 22.
